The results are in for the first semi-finalists on NBC&8217;s America&8217;s Got Talent! Nick Cannon will reveal which five acts America voted through to the Top Ten tonight. Jimmy Fallon, Recycle Percussion, and Kylie Minogue are all in the house to perform live. Judges Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel, and Piers Morgan, are also on hand to weigh in. As usual, Nick gets right down to business&8230;

ArcAttack, Kristina Young, Future Funk, and Dan Sperry are all asked to join Nick Cannon onstage to learn their fate. The act that will be in the Top Ten based on America&8217;s voting is&8230;no one! All four of these acts will be going home – surprise! Piers thought that ArcAttack deserved a shot, and maybe Future Funk. I also thought ArcAttack would go through.

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) announced that he will run for president in 2012 during an appearance on ABC's “Good Morning America” on Friday.

said in announcing the launch of his campaign from the key early primary state of New Hampshire.

The news should come as no surprise. Paul signaled that he was “on the verge” of making a decision on whether to enter the race earlier this week. On Thursday, multiple reports indicated that the strong libertarian voice would jump into the race.

Arcade Fire headlined the main Coachella Stage Saturday night (their third and biggest time playing the annual California fest), and as if their sound and crowd size and setlist wasn't impressive and massive enough, a surprise came during “Wake Up,” their last pre-encore song. Courtesy of Creators Project, who promised something big via a press release earlier in the day, lots of white balloons descended upon the crowd. But they weren't just any balloons. Honestly I don't know how they worked, but they lit up and changed colors as you can see in the pictures above above and below. And they stayed lit up during the four-song encore that helped close out the second of three hot days of Coachella 2011.
