How are the new jeep wranglers 07-09 alike and different from the older jeep wranglers 97–06. 2006 was the final year of the beloved inline 6cyl 4.0 liter motor. I have a Cherokee with the 4.0 it has nearly 300000 miles on it all.

I &104;&097;&118;&101; &097; Cherokee &119;&105;&116;&104; &116;&104;&101; 4.0 &105;&116; &104;&097;&115; nearly 300,000 miles on &105;&116; &097;&108;&108; original. &097;&102;&116;&101;&114; 2006 Jeep &119;&101;&110;&116; &116;&111; &097; 3.8 V-6…and I &116;&104;&105;&110;&107; &097; 3.9 later and yes there are &115;&111;&109;&101; cosmetic differences &097;&115; well, such &097;&115; larger fender flares on &116;&104;&101; later models. Also &116;&104;&101; AX-15 manual tranny &119;&097;&115; replaced in 99 &119;&105;&116;&104; &097; NV3550. I&039;m not sure of &116;&104;&101; years but &116;&104;&101; rims &119;&101;&114;&101; also increased in size over &116;&104;&101; years &102;&114;&111;&109; 15in &116;&111; 16in &116;&104;&101;&110; &116;&111; 17in. The 4.0 &104;&097;&115; proven &116;&111; &098;&101; extremely reliable over many years of abuse. While &116;&104;&101; verdict &105;&115; &115;&116;&105;&108;&108; out on &116;&104;&101; current V models. I &108;&105;&107;&101; &116;&104;&101; 4.0 since &105;&116; &104;&097;&100; over 20 years of build time. 20 years of engineers &116;&111; tweek and perfect &116;&104;&101; I-6.
